Sofia Paska (’14) Commits to Ryerson Rams

Sofia Paska of Toronto, ON has committed to play for the Ryerson Rams of the OUA in the Fall of 2014.

Paska is a daunting presence in the paint that her opposition needs to be aware of when she’s on the court. Standing at a very solid 6’4″, Paska does a good job establishing position in on order to successful on both ends of the floor. She is extremely strong, so maintaining that position is that much more effective for her, which opens doors in allowing her to be an active rebounder. She is improving her ability to get up and down the floor, which will invariably improve her stock as a future Ram.

This past Fall, Paska a CROWN Scout Top-40 prospect, led the Richview Saints to a birth in the OFSAA (Ontario high school provincials) 3A, after claiming the Toronto Public school birth.

Paska will look to complete her rep team season, now underway, with the Oakville Venom.
