Third Times The Charm For LeBoldus In 5A Finals

On March 23, 2013 the LeBoldus Golden Suns from Regina, SK defeated the Holy Cross Crusaders 78-70 at Hoopla to claim the Saskatchewan High School Provincial title.

In capturing the 5A title, the Golden Suns snapped the Crusaders’ record setting 84 game winning streak.

The matchup betwen these two teams in the 5A Finals was the third consecutive matchup between these teams which saw the previous two claimed by the streaking Crusaders.

Quinn Dornstauder (6’3″, P, 2013) led the champs with a game high 25 points, while Megan Lindquist (6’0″, F, 2013) scored 22 in a losing cause for the Crusaders.
