Gucciardi To Attend U Of Windsor This Fall

Samantha Gucciardi (3-stars, 6’1″, F, Bill Crothers Prep) of Woodbridge, ON has committed to attend the University of Windsor in Ontario for the Fall of 2017.

The Forward played with the Team Ontario U17 squad that won the Canadian Nationals in the summer of 2016, had transferred to Bill Crothers, in order to play her Senior year with the Colts.

The midrange jumper is Gucciardi’s weapon of choice, and often uses her ability to get up and down the floor in order to be able to contribute to her team’s offense. While she does posses some good rebounding instincts, her ability to turn up the competitive juices will play a significant role in how well she’ll be able to contribute to the Lancers.

The Windsor Lancers finished the 2016-2017 season with a 16-4 regular season. That finished earned them a Fourth seed in the OUA Playoffs, where they succumbed to a Semi-Finals loss.
