Save The Date: 2024 Chris Smalling Tournament

With interest for Canada’s premier high school event continuing to grow, the details for this year’s Chris Smalling Event are beginning to take shape.

This year’s event will be taking place from October 24-27, 2024 and will return to the four courts at the University of Ontario (UOIT)/Durham College (200 Simcoe Street North, Oshawa, ON, L1G 0C5).

This year’s event has received confirmation from 40 teams, with more than a dozen of them calling somewhere outside of the province of Ontario, home. Those teams travelling in from outside of Ontario will represent 4 other provinces. This year, for the first time ever there will be a European team participating (more details on this to come)!

As usual, the event will be broken up into two categories: A Junior division, featuring teams with players in grade 10 and below, as well as a Varsity division, with teams of high school aged players of any age.

The “who’s who” of girls’ high school/prep basketball in Canada (and now beyond) will all be on one location.
