2019 Top-10 Tournament Individual Award Winner
The 2019 Top-10 Shoot-Out Tournament which took place January 16-19, 2019 in Coquitlam, BC, announced their individual award winners.
The standouts as identified by the tournament selection committee, were led by Tournament MVP, Deja Lee, who helped lead her Semiahmoo Totems with 24 points in the 77-75 Championship game, come from behind win against Walnut Grove.
Lee’s teammate, Izzy Forsyth scored 26 points herself in the Final, helping her to earn a nod to a First All Star Team acknowledgement. Other offensive standout performances from the individual award winners included 45 points from Marin Lenz, in Abbotsford’s game against South Kamloops, 29 points from Samantha Shields in Riverside’s game against Walnut Grove and Tavia Rowell’s 26 points in the same game, as well as 26 more in the same game.
