Dynamiques Top Cavaliers 66-55

On November 30, 2018, the Sainte-Foy Dynamiques defeated the Champlain-St Lambert Cavaliers by a score of 65-55.

The Dynamiques were led in scoring by Frédérique Beaudry-Blais, who scored 16 points and nabbed 5 steals.

The Dynamiques had balanced scoring in this game as no other Sainte-Foy player scored in double digits. They did however get a well-rounded results from Frédérique Larouche who scored 8 points, and balanced it out with 3 block, 3 steals, 3 rebounds and 3 assists.

The first half of this game saw Saints-Foy take charge in the first half with a 34-21 lead at halftime.

Champlain did not go out without a fight. They used a hot start in the third quarter to find their way back into the game.

Hustle plays by Mutera Misenga who got it done score at both the free throw line and from the field, while also adding a couple assists and rebounds in that run really helped turn the tables. Add to that a couple of 3-pointers from Joy Taan-Tobias and midway through that quarter, the Cavaliers managed to tie the game up at 37.

The Dynamiques however, weathered the storm. They went then went on a 8-0 run of their own to add some breathing space. By the middle of the fourth quarter, that lead grew to 12, before the final 65-55 scoreline.

For the Cavaliers, Taan-Tobias scored 20, including a game high five 3-pointers while Misenga scored 13, while adding 16 rebounds and 3 steals.
