Radar Worthy: Taija Sta Maria

In basketball terms, Taija Sta Maria (3.5-stars, 5’4”, PG, 2023) of Vaughan, ON, has shown to be wise beyond her years.

As a Freshman, she has a very good understanding of how to run an offence and how to get her teammates involved. When it comes time to call her own number, she has multiple ways to get her shot off, and doesn’t seem afraid of possible physicality that may come with finishing at the rim.

Added size and strength would take her game to the next level, but she has a very bright future, built off of the foundation of how well she can think the game.
