Fournier Named 2022 Biosteel Team White Game MVP
On April 5, 2022, Toby Fournier of Toronto, ON has been named Team White’s MVP of the 2022 Biosteel All-Canadian Basketball Game.
Despite her Team White’s slim 99-98 loss, Fournier received the standout nod after leading her team with 15 points and 14 rebounds in the game featuring the top 24 female Canadian high school basketball players, played in her hometown.
Fournier went 7 for 11 from the field during the game held at the University of Toronto’s Goldring Centre, and had 3 block and as many steals.
She was also named the 2022 Biosteel Dunk Champion in a Dunk-off that took place as one of the overall weekend’s events, the night before. She beat out a field that included male counterparts.
