Canadian Teams to Compete in Chicago’s Nike Summer Showcase

The girls’ Nike Summer Showcase will have some Canadian content on hand during its July 11-15, 2011 schedule.  There will be six teams in total competing in Chicago, IL for the covetted crown as champion of one of only 4 events this year for girls that is officially sponsored by Nike.

As this tournament is taking place during the official summer observation period, it attract many post secondary coaches. Last year there were close to 550 college coaches in attendance on behalf of American Colleges and Universities ranging from NCAA Div 1 schools, through to Junior Colleges, with a strong chance of those number duplicating again this year.

This year’s Canadian representatives include the following teams:
